Citi Disability Career Expo 2022, coming together for the greater good of inclusivity

Over two days, 1300 learners with disabilities, educators, entrepreneurs, corporate organisations and NGOs came together to spotlight opportunities in the workplace.

Citi South Africa came onboard as the headline sponsor of the event, spearheaded by Lauren den Besten, Campus Talent Acquisition Graduate.

It was a day of education and fun for the learners who took the opportunity to interact with corporate exhibitors and gain knowledge of potential learnerships, internships and bursary schemes.

Ipeleng “Crazy Legs” Khunou was of the entertainers on day, as well as the Ithembelihle LSEN School Choir and programme directors Reggie Mogevisa and Siyabonga Xaba.

But it was the learners who shined as they were equipped with the practicalities of entering the job market and access to market opportunities.
