Prinshof School, situated in the Pretoria Central Business District, provides quality, specialised education to blind and partially sighted learners from across the country. A number of learners from other African countries also receive tuition at the school.

Most of the learners follow the mainstream curriculum from Gr R up to Gr 12. Learners with additional impairments are accommodated in the Section for Special Education. A total of 400 learners are currently enrolled at the school of 207 are boarders in 7 hostels on the school grounds.

The vision of the school is to provide excellent and relevant specialised education to visually impaired learners from all cultures in accordance with the constitutional rights of every individual. The school is dual medium and the language of teaching and learning are Afrikaans and English.
