Adelaide Tambo School, formerly known as JC Merkin School was established in 1980. It is situated in White City, Jabavu in Soweto. The school provides education to 381 learners with physical and learning disabilities. Learning starts from Grade 1 – 12 for day scholars and boarders.
Most of learners come from disadvantaged families, others are orphans raised by grandparents, and their social grants maintain families.
