500 Visually impaired persons are on the SA Guide Dogs Association waiting list for a cane and daily life skills training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For each client, costs can accumulate to over R 3 500; your donation will help raise vital funds to purchase these canes and provide much-needed training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Guide Dog is a wonderful aid to assist people who are visually impaired to navigate the world safely. But navigating is not the only skill you need when you cannot see.
This is where our Orientation & Mobility services have changed the lives of over 100 000 people since its inception in 1974.
This year, there are 500 clients on the waiting list to receive a cane and much needed skills training to allow them to live their lives independently, to provide for themselves, their families and their dogs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Starting today, we need to raise R550 000 to be able to provide our clients with a cane and training. We need your help to make their dreams come true!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
