{"id":7285,"date":"2024-04-10T08:57:39","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T06:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/disabilityconnect.co.za\/?p=7285"},"modified":"2024-04-10T08:57:39","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T06:57:39","slug":"massmart-retail-person-with-disability-learnership-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.disabilityconnectexpo.com\/index.php\/2024\/04\/10\/massmart-retail-person-with-disability-learnership-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Massmart Retail Person with Disability Learnership 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disability Inclusion and creating community equality are part of our key priorities as a business and we are excited to announce that we are offering a <strong><em>Learnership programme that will run for 12 months in various stores across South Africa for People Living with Disabilities.<\/em><\/strong> The fixed term contract will provide all learners with workplace experience underpinned by a carefully designed training programme that allows one to gain valuable work experience and explore career paths within the Retail World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong potential in time management, interpersonal &amp; communication skills and must have a passion for the retail environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To be eligible for the programme, the below minimum requirements apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Candidate must be a South African Citizen by birth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Completed Matric qualification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Valid Doctors Certificate that confirms the nature of Disability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Must be unemployed and have 0 &#8211; 1 Year working experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Must be 26 years old or younger<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Willing to work retail hours (weekends, busy trading periods such as Christmas, public holidays etc. )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Not registered for the same program at the SETA before \/ not currently registered with any SETA for any program<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Start date for the programme is 27th May 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All applicants must complete the attached application form and submit together with the below documents to <a href=\"mailto:Graduate.Recruitment@Massmart.co.za\">Graduate.Recruitment@Massmart.co.za<\/a> with the subject clearly marked as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>PWD LEARNERSHIP 2024.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Updated CV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Matric Certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Identity Document<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 School Testimonial \/ Reference Letter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Medical Certificate confirming the disability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The closing date for the applications will be 15th April 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disability Inclusion and creating community equality are part of our key priorities as a business and we are excited to announce that we are offering a Learnership programme that will run for 12 months in various stores across South Africa for People Living with Disabilities.
